May 27, 2019, (Montverde, Florida) – The Orlando Kicks FC WPSL team played their home opener earlier today at the Montverde Athletic Complex in Montverde, Florida. The Kicks squad dominated the match from the start and continued their domination throughout the match resulting in a 5-1 win by the time the final whistle sounded. The Kicks opened their scoring in the 10th minute as center back Katie Beck headed the ball into the back of the net on a fantastic cross by midfielder Darya Rajaee. 8 minutes later, Mafer Contreras delivered a spectacular pass to forward Shayla Smart who struck the ball on the half volley into the back of the net to make it 2-0 for the Kicks.
The scoring continued in the second half with a goal from midfielder Madison Murmin on an assist from midfielder Christina Trickett. Midfielder Jessica Taylor would add two more goals, one on a penalty and the other unassisted to round up the scoring for the Kicks.

The Orlando Kicks play their next game at home vs. the Florida Tropics SC on Sunday June 2, 2019 at 10:00AM… Admission is FREE for kids under 18 & adults are only $5/person.
