Clermont, Florida – The Orlando Kicks FC were on the road earlier this evening to take on the North Florida Reign for the team’s season opener. The Kicks dominated the game from the start but could not find the back of the net in the first half. In the 23rd minute of the second half, Cassie Kirk received a well played pass from Bella Recinos inside the 18 yard box & slipped the ball past the Reign’s goalkeeper for the 1-0 advantage. 12 minutes later, Bella Ramirez crossed the ball from the left attacking side to Jacey Cotter who took a blistering shot at goal. The shot was blocked by the goalkeeper but then was easily tapped into the back of the net by forward Eduarda “Duda” Pavao. The final goal came in the 43rd minute of the second half as Bella Ramirez struck the ball from 30 yards out to give the Kicks the 3-0 advantage.
“It was a great win for us tonight. Playing on the road and coming out with 3 points is not an easy task” said Coach Aristodemo.
