Clermont, Florida – The Orlando Kicks FC were at home earlier this evening to take on the North Florida Reign. The Kicks dominated the game from the start and found the back of the net in the 18th minute as Cassie Kirk received a short pass from Bella Recinos for a left footed shot that hit the back of the net. Nine minutes later, Keira McCarthy found the back of the net for the second goal as she received a well placed cross from Jasmine Spence and headed the ball brilliantly into the goal. Only a few minutes later, in the 30th minute of the first half, Jasmine Spence struck the ball on frame for the team’s third goal of the evening as she received a pass from Kendall Bobbitt. With a few minutes left in the second half, Keira McCarthy received a nicely placed ball from teammate Mafer Contreras and once again found the back of the net for her second goal of the evening & the team’s fourth. The game was called at halftime due damage to the light system from inclement weather in the area.
“This was another great win for the team. The girls have been training hard and working well together on & off the pitch. We look forward to seeing the all develop individually & collectively as a team” said Coach Aristodemo.
